Human-Centred and Inclusive AI for African Education Systems (EN/FR)

Thursday, June 4, 2026 12:00 – 13:15

Room: Omanye II

EN/FR interpretation available

As AI becomes embedded in education systems, questions of human agency, inclusion and pedagogical sovereignty come to the fore. This session explores how African-led, context-sensitive approaches can strengthen rather than displace human expertise. Contributions examine governance models and inclusive digital pedagogy, as well as emerging pathways for developing sovereign and equitable AI approaches aligned with African educational priorities.
