Efforts to expand opportunities for girls and women in STEM, TVET, and research are gaining momentum. This session examines persistent barriers to participation and the strategies being used to address them, including changes in pedagogy, mentoring and institutional reform. Contributions consider how intentional digital innovation can support more equitable progression into technical fields and strengthen women’s roles in the digital economy.
