Biography
Dr Ronda Železný-Green is a world-renowned digital changemaker and the CEO of datocracy, where she leads a mission to reimagine AI and data upskilling for the Global Majority. With over 20 years of experience spanning five continents, Ronda is a leading voice in digital sovereignty, gender equity, and responsible AI governance. A mobile technologist and researcher, she has provided strategic advisory services for prominent multilateral organizations and governments globally. Before founding datocracy, Ronda led the development of data.org’s Responsible Data Management course, a landmark initiative adopted by the Governments of India and Nigeria to train over 3.1 million civil servants. Her career is defined by a commitment to Epistemic Justice, empowering marginalized populations, including women and people with disabilities, to move from being passive consumers of technology to becoming primary architects of their own digital futures. Ronda’s work is dedicated to ensuring that technology serves as a transformative tool for self-sufficiency and social impact.
