Climate Education, Community Action and Local Resilience (EN)
Thursday, June 4, 2026 16:45 – 17:45
Climate education is increasingly shaped at the community level. This session examines practical approaches that respond to local conditions and support resilience in context. It explores how citizens, young people and community leaders can be equipped to address climate challenges through education linked to action, including adaptation and resource use, such as community-based waste management. Contributions consider how community-led initiatives, including digitally supported efforts, can build awareness, influence behaviour and strengthen more resilient local futures.
