Biography
Roger Larsen from Norway has 25 years of experience of developing innovative educational technology solutions through co-founding several EdTech companies. Most recently Nor.Education, which offers a novel tool to help universities and schools verify original student writing, thereby confirming the absence of ChatGPT and AI-generated text.
In the past, Roger co-founded; Fronter, a Learning Management System, adopted by 7 million users accross 10.000 schools; WeVideo, a platform enabling learners to tell stories using multimedia, available at half of all schools in the US; And Creaza, a cartoon-creation platform for developing 21st-century skills, adopted by hundreds of Scandinavian schools.
Roger's journey to becoming a leading figure in the education and technology industry began with a degree in multimedia from Østfold University College Norway. He has also served as the Digital Strategy Director for Pearson UK, where he helped shaping the company's digital transformation strategy.
