Biography
Mossaab Haj Elsiddig Mohamed Ali is a seasoned Learning Technology Specialist, LMS developer, Instructional Designer, and System Administrator with extensive experience in Moodle. With over 19 years of academic experience and 9 years in software implementation and maintenance, Mossaab is skilled at troubleshooting. He has a proven track record of managing complex infrastructures and LMS operations, complemented by certifications from Moodle, Microsoft, and Google.
In his roles, Mossaab served as a Moodle support engineer at Overt Software Solutions, and as a Learning Technology Coordinator at the University of London, where he provided support for administrative and academic users of VLE platforms like Moodle and Coursera. He also worked as a VLC Virtual Learning Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization, where he developed virtual learning content and managed Moodle-based virtual learning environments.
Mossaab's expertise extends to system administration and web development. He has experience in designing and customizing Moodle sites, administering Microsoft Azure, AWS, an other cloud infrastructure, and managing online learning platforms for various organizations like CrowdDoing, TechCefacos, and SchoolGroup. Additionally, Mossaab has contributed to the Moodle community as a language maintainer and support forum moderator.
In his spare time, Mossaab enjoys participating in conferences like MoodleMoot global 2020 as a speaker, where he shares his knowledge and insights with fellow educators and professionals.
