Biography
An eminent specialist in education and vocational and technical training, Inspector General Mahdi Omar Farah played an active role in reforming the Djibouti education system as part of the implementation of the new Djibouti school system.
He has made an unwavering contribution to advancing the training of young people through the development of training standards, the establishment of training and apprenticeship centres and, in particular, the training of trainers in the digital education sector.
As Inspector General of Education and Vocational Training at the Ministry of National Education, he draws up education policy and helps to define a standardised framework for educational action, ensures that the quality of teaching and learning is improved, and formulates guidelines for the design of curricula and the validation of teaching tools.
It conducts studies, expert appraisals and thematic evaluations of quality, and also leads audits and pedagogical controls of training establishments.
