Biography
Daria Mizza teaches Curriculum and Instruction and Instructional Technology in the Department of Educational Studies of the American University in Cairo. Her latest research focuses on inclusive learning environments that, enabled by key pedagogical and technological innovations, optimize learners’ ability to learn. She has written extensively about the role of technology in transforming curriculum and instruction for both higher education and K-12 levels, stressing the importance of a research-based plan and recognizing the role of the proactive educators as catalysts for effective learning solutions. She has authored several books and book chapters on current perspectives on and the future direction of innovative methodologies and technologies in language teaching, emphasizing the development of writing skills and focusing on instruction in blended environments.
