Friday, June 5, 2026 12:00 – 13:00
This knowledge exchange session explores how animated storytelling can make learning more accessible, engaging, and culturally relevant for children and young people across Africa. Drawing on practical lessons from creating short educational animations, the discussion highlights how audiovisual content can complement formal schooling and reach learners through television, mobile devices, community screenings, and digital platforms. Participants will examine key elements such as narrative design, language choices, cultural representation, and production constraints, and will gain adaptable insights on how animation can support inclusion and improve learning outcomes for underserved audiences.
