Zaheer Hamid

Biography

Further to pursuing an MBA with the University of Luton (UK) and completing his PhD with North West University (PBS), Prof. Hamid has spent the last 13 years leading various key areas for two private business schools (MANCOSA and REGENT Business School) that are part of the Honoris United Universities network. He currently serves as the director of the MANCOSA GSB. Prof. Hamid serves on various committees and bodies providing counsel and advisory. He currently serves on the South African Business Schools Association for deans and directors - SABSA.

Prof. Hamid has attended and presented at various international conferences in Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Yemen, USA, China, Brazil and India. He is known for his research within the educational management and business areas. Prof. Hamid is committed to working towards a higher education environment that is accessible to all South Africans, raising the quality levels of Higher education provisioning and ensuring a meaningful transformation of the South African Higher Education system.
