Biography

Zabron Abel is an IT professional and the TTCIH Manager for Business and Digital Health. Currently leads development of National e-Platform for health care workers. He is involved in Learning Management System setup and Content development, contracted by World Lung Foundation to develop content on Maternal and Child Health and Setup eLearning Platform (http://41.93.45.14/moodle/ ) and JHPIEGO Digital Learning platform (http://155.12.30.36/ ) . He is also a Micro Research graduate and coordinator for the Tanzania chapter of the Micro-Research training program- Dalhousie University Canada. Zabron has a Bachelor in Computer Science and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Dar es Salaam, and has excellent skills in database systems management (Sybase database administration – Nairobi, Kenya, Sybase database performance and tuning, Johannesburg). Zabron has Certificate in Health Management (World Bank); experience in projects management (CompTIA project management –Johannesburg, SA). Also has a certificate in eLearning strategies Implementation (University of Dar es Salaam). In 2010 he joined the National e-Learning Support Centre as project manager before later joining TTCIH to-date. He participated in the project data verification for the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)-Pay for Performance (P4P) Pwani Region as Data verifier and Analysis
