Yendoutie Nakorgou

Biography

Yendoutie NAKORGOU is an educational technology engineer and expert, with over 10 years of experience in the digital transformation of higher education institutions and the management of complex projects across Africa. He currently serves as Head of Information Systems and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) at the African Centre for Advanced Studies in Management (CESAG).

A specialist in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and project management, he holds an MBA in Project Management as well as two master's degrees: one in Radiocommunications and Services, and another in Computer Science, Modelling and Simulation of Complex Systems. He is also certified in Digital Learning by the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and Mohammed VI University of Morocco.

Throughout his career, he has played both an operational and strategic role in modernising open and distance learning systems and digitalising professional practices, working alongside international partners such as the AUF, USAID, GIZ, DAAD, DIGI-FACE, CLEAR, UMOA-Titres and the YALI programme.

As technical lead for the YALI programme, he supported Regional Leadership Centres across Africa (Senegal, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa) and contributed to the training of young leaders and organisation managers in over 25 French- and Portuguese-speaking sub-Saharan African countries.

Since 2025, he has been an associate expert trainer at the UNESCO-ICHEI national IIOE Centre, for which he has designed and produced micro-credentials aimed at strengthening teachers' capacities in distance learning. He is widely recognised for his expertise in digitalisation, the design of digital learning resources and change management.
