Biography
I’m a Communications Professional with vast experience in the use of digital tools for development. At Enabel in Uganda, I’m the Single Point of Contact for the utilization of ICT and digital resources at the 27 million euro “Support to Skilling Uganda” intervention which aims at enhancing the employability of youth through better quality of training and instruction in skills development.
I lead on the piloting of Virtual Reality as a tool to improve the quality of training in skills development. I also oversee the establishment of digital-for-innovation hubs in a number of vocational training institutions in Uganda. The hubs will equip youth with the blue colour skills that prepare them for the market today as well as enable them access technical and vocational online educational resources.
I have previously championed the use of digital tools to address adolescent sexual and reproductive health issues in Uganda. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication and pursuing a Masters in the same field.
