Biography
Véronique da Costa is the International Development Director of 42, the world’s leading network of tech excellence campuses (AI, Cybersecurity, DevOps...) that are entirely free of charge and open to all. 42 is internationally recognized as the third most innovative educational organization in the world according to the WURI ranking. With a career spanning over 20 years in the technology sector, Véronique has driven strategic projects within major corporations, notably serving as IT Manager and Digital Marketing Director. Her hybrid academic background, combining a Master’s degree in History, a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and a Master’s degree in Digital Management, reflects her cross-functional vision of innovation. Today, she leverages her global expertise to foster inclusion and professional training. Since 2022, alongside the 42 Board, she has been orchestrating the international growth of the network, which currently spans over 50 campuses across thirty countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, training more than 27,000 adults. She is particularly committed to the network's expansion in Africa, which already counts 6 campuses across Morocco, Angola, and Madagascar. Driven by the deep conviction that tech must be a lever for equal opportunity, the 42 network offers tuition-free programs with no prerequisite degrees, age limits, or gender discrimination. This inclusive approach delivers concrete results: over 30% of the learners are women, and learner profiles range from 18 to over 60 years old.
