Vanessa Komiliades

Biography

Vanessa Komiliades is the Academic Manager for the English component of Building Learning Foundations (BLF) in Rwanda, a nationwide teacher development programme focusing on improving learning outcomes in foundational skills for P1-P3 pupils. She has previous academic and project management experience from the UK funded EfECT project in Myanmar and EU funded TAMOP in Hungary, and has extensive teaching and teacher training experience from the UK and Central and South America, including Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Bolivia. Vanessa has an MA in Development Education and Global Learning from the London Institute of Education.
