Biography

Ms. Uyoyo Edosio is the Education, ICT and Digital Skills Expert at the African Development Bank Group. She manages portfolio, leads dialogue and investment projects relating to education, ICT and innovation, skills and youth employment. As an ICT and innovation expert with solid understanding of project management and investment appraisal, coupled with years of Consulting and management experience across Europe and Africa, Ms. Edosio has led many outstanding interventions including driving the African Developments Bank premier innovation center of excellence in partnership with over 30 institutions, to strengthen their ICT and digital competencies, with an overall aim of promoting demand driven and ICT enabled education for a competitive labour force .

As an innovation expert, Uyoyo led Bank Entrepreneurship and Innovation lab initiative through which the Bank supports the youth employment and entrepreneurship ecosystem by incubating and piloting promising new ideas.  Owing to her passion and commitment to Youth empowerment and specifically being a youth under 30, she founded Young and Intentional, aimed at providing a platform to guide African youths towards achieving success in their chosen fields of excellence through mentorship and guidance.

Uyoyo is a seasoned researcher her leading Research on “Big Data analytics and e-commerce” has been referenced over 6000 times in leading journals and textbooks, she has received accolades as a top researcher in this field. Uyoyo holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and Management, a post graduate degree in Investment Appraisal and Project Management and Bachelors in Computer Science.
