Biography
Currently working for the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria South Africa as an Employability Practitioner for the faculty of science since 2015. I hold a Bachelor of Science Education, from the University of Northwest, Majored in Chemistry, Mathematics and Education. Then proceeded to do the Bachelor of Education Honors from the same University. Then later Did the Master of Business Leadership with the University of South Africa and then also did the Master of Education with Haaga Helia University of Science in Finland.
As an Employability Practitioner at the Tshwane University of Technology, I continue to oversee processes of Work Integrated Learning within the faculty, linking the faculty with industry in several programmes. This role influenced my topic for my Finish Master of Education entitled "Work Integrated Learning in an Entrepreneurial Approach", hence I am presenting this very aspect in this conference.
My work experience is mainly in the education and training space which spans for thirty years. I worked in several school at the secondary level teaching Mathematics and Science. Then proceeded to lecture in the now defunct teacher training colleges for almost two decades, with a specialty in mathematics and science. My experience also extends to working in the Sector Education Training Authority space (SETA) as a Learnerships manager and Lectured Education at the School of Education at TUT.
Currently, pursing a Doctoral degree with the focus in Work Integrated learning with the School of Education at Tshwane University of Technology.
