Biography
Tom Whitehill is currently Head of International Development at Avanti Communications. With overall responsibility for the East Africa and International Development team he leads the iMlango project, a pioneering EdTech project based in Kenya. Tom is responsible for delivering Avanti’s education strategy and building relationships with key stakeholders in the region. Prior to joining Avanti Tom has had roles in the UK, Africa and the Middle East and was most recently involved in the property industry, developing and delivering the strategy for a start-up development company.
Tom has also held roles in the sports industry as well as undertaking numerous pieces of consultancy work across the leisure, finance and music industries.
Tom holds a Bachelor's (Honours) degree in Finance and Business from the University of Bournemouth, UK.
