Biography

Mr. Sunil Dahiya currently serves as the Executive Vice President, Skilling, at the Wadhwani Foundation, a global not-for-profit, committed to accelerating economic development by driving job creation through large-scale initiatives in skilling, entrepreneurship, government digital transformation, and innovation & research. With over 25 years of experience, he plays a crucial role in driving impactful skilling initiatives for India and Southeast Asia, aligning with the Foundation's mission to create jobs and spur economic growth.

Bringing a solid academic foundation with a Hons in Economics from Delhi University, Mr. Dahiya has demonstrated dynamic leadership in his extensive professional career. He has a remarkable track record of leading the Digital Transformation product series in the IT/ITES space. His strategic leadership and forward-thinking approach played a pivotal role in molding the organization's digital environment.

With a vocational education and training journey spanning over three decades, Mr. Sunil Dahiya exhibits a profound commitment to enhancing skills and fostering opportunities. Prior to joining Wadhwani Foundation, he played a key role at NIIT, leading their B2C digital transformation and co-founding Stackroute, a creative venture.

In his current role, Mr. Dahiya extends his impact globally, heading the Wadhwani Global Skilling programs in Emerging Countries. His visionary approach is evident in successfully steering the industry collaboration vertical, contributing to the placements of an impressive 200,000 students.

Proficient across various domains including product management, technology alliances, business development, and channel management, Mr. Dahiya's multifaceted skill set positions him as a dynamic and versatile leader, adept at navigating the complexities of the evolving vocational education landscape.
