Biography
Siwelile Mngadi is a Masters Candidate in Educational Technology at Wits University, and Projects cordinator for teacher training development projects, mainly in the field of ICT in Education, under the Educational Information and Engineering Technology Division (EDIET) at Wits School of Education. She holds an educational background of digital education and online teaching focusing on the areas of instructional design, teaching with technology, new directions in digital learning as well as e-assessments in Education. For the past 7 years, she has been involved in teacher training development projects that enable educators to strategically implement ICT integration in education, as they aim to support professional development that fosters 21st Century teaching and learning using technology while equipping educators with the knowledge and understanding of various ICT tools. We strive for inclusivity, digital access and digital equity for educators in rural areas in South Africa with limited resources and limited access.
