Biography
Sari Kenraali works as a Senior Lecturer in further teacher education at Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) in Finland and boasts 20 years of experience in leadership, development, and implementation of competency-based and student-centered vocational education as well as vocational teacher education, employing various pedagogical methods and digital tools.
Her areas of expertise include vocational teacher education (pre- and in-service), curriculum development, special needs education, fostering the well-being of the learning community, simulation training, pedagogical methods, and skills competitions such as Abilympics and EuroSkills. Sari has been involved in several international projects and has extensive experience in teaching multicultural students. Currently, one of her most significant responsibilities involves leading the process of developing and piloting Liberia’s first vocational teacher training curriculum in collaboration with Liberian and HAMK team professionals.
