Sarah Okumo

Biography

Sarah Okumo is an Instructional Designer at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Accra, Ghana. With over 5 years’ experience as a learning design, development and technology professional, she is dedicated to crafting engaging and effective learning experiences. She possesses a high ability in creating interactive materials that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Her expertise in learning technology tools includes Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Camtasia Studio, Vyond, Microsoft Office and various Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Sarah has been an instrumental part of the eLearning team at KAIPTC and played a pivotal role in creating over 12 self-paced online courses and packages for her institution and its partners. Committed to advancing digital education within her institution and country, she organized the inaugural KAIPTC eLearning Awareness Forum and Exhibition themed,“The Future of KAIPTC Learning! Developing Capacities through Innovative Learning Technologies” in October 2023 in Accra, Ghana.
