Biography
Sally Nhlanhla is an Educationanist from South Africa. She believes in bringing learning, good learning to every child in Africa. Her passion is using teaching innovations, including taking advatange of technology, to make learning more accessible to every type of learners in the classroom. She has worked on various technology implementation projects in South Africa and beyond; she has also trained more than 5000 people in her professional career and has faciltated various successful workshops.
Sally is part of the Pearson Group in Africa as the Key Accounts Manager for East and Southern Africa in Higher Education and Post Schools, focusing on digital solutioning and bringing teachnology learning into the lecturer rooms of every insitution of higher learning and training in Africa. Her work involves understanding the needs of institutions, lecturers and students, advising them on solutions to aid in the meeting of those needs. She loves spending time with people and helping them to overcome their challenges.
Sally will be sharing some of Pearson Africa's innovative solutions that will bring students closer to real-life career readiness. We believe these solutions will differentiate an institution's students from the rest.
Sally is married to Thembinkosi Nhlanhla, an experienced trainer and entrepreneur. They live in Johannesburg South Africa. Together they share a passion to see Africa achieve all that it is supposed to, and that change being brought by people of it's own land. Sally and her husband Thembinkosi also do a lot of work in the community, including being Youth Ministers at Every Nation Church Alexandra, where they walk with young people of that community.
