Biography

Rosalyne Naa Norkor Baddoo is a researcher, competency-based trainer and facilitator, development and agribusiness specialist with over ten years of experience leading multistakeholder initiatives across agriculture, livelihoods, climate resilience, and innovation systems in Ghana and East Africa. She currently serves as Hub Manager of the Postharvest Innovation Hub at the University of Ghana, where she leads stakeholder engagement, research translation, innovation-focused capacity building, and strategic partnerships. Rosalyne’s research interests span technology transfer, research commercialisation, and agricultural innovation systems. Her work increasingly explores how digital transformation and knowledge-sharing platforms can strengthen agricultural systems, improve livelihoods, and equip young people with skills for sustainable development. She has coordinated climate-smart agriculture and value chain initiatives, facilitated partnerships among farmers, researchers, NGOs, and financial institutions, and supported capacity-building interventions to strengthen resilience and market participation for smallholder farmers. She has developed training materials and consulted for several development organisations on initiatives related to agricultural finance, food security, value chain development, and youth agripreneurship. Rosalyne is a member of AfricaLics - African Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation and Competence Building Systems and the Globelics- Global Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation and Competence Building Systems. She is passionate about leveraging innovation, knowledge systems, partnerships, and inclusive learning approaches to advance sustainable development in Africa.
