Biography
Reuben Etuk is a process and control engineer, whose career spans over two decades in the petroleum industry where, along side his technical responsibilities, also stewards work place technical training and competency. Additionally, his is involved in development intervention, evaluation and research with interest in educational development, youth empowerment, as well as environmental and health advocacy.
Reuben worked with Exxonmobil for 22 years and currently in the Joint Venture Department of Seplat Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited. He is a visiting instructor to Ibom Metropolitan Polytechnic, Uyo, in Nigeria. He is the board chairman of the Centre for educational development and career initiatives, Nigeria- a not-for-profit organisation; and the vice president and executive director, research and development, of Evisiondatamind international limited- and educational technology and training consulting firm.
Reuben holds a Full technology certificate in industrial measurement and controls, Bachelor degrees in Biochemistry and chemical engineering, a post graduate diploma in development administration (monitoring and evaluation), a Masters in environmental health management and Ph.D in environmental science and another in view, in project management.
Reuben Etuk is happily married to Prof. Grace Reuben Etuk and they are blessed with a boy and two girls.
