Biography
As Head of Education Africa, Rebecca Ottmann has been an integral part of Siemens Stiftung since its foundation in 2008. She works within the area of Education. She is in charge of the educational programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Within her approach she combines the operational implementation of the programs with collaboration with international partners and change agents in order to achieve systemic change.
Prior to joining Siemens Stiftung, Rebecca worked for Siemens AG. There, she has had over twenty years of professional experience in various fields of communications and social responsibility. Originally a native of Austria Rebecca completed her studies in business administration in an Open University in Germany, where she earned her Diplom Betriebswirt (FH).
