Biography

Odile Iragena, an ambitious medical student at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), is pursuing an MBBS/MGHD degree with a focus on becoming a global health leader. She is renowned for her skills in public speaking, leadership, and academic writing, with a keen interest in neurosurgery, surgical oncology, eLearning, and digital health. Odile contributes significantly to eLearning at UGHE, leading projects such as the "UGHE eLearning Studio" and a Canvas course on e-Learning resources, while also enhancing students' skills through Lecturio and Osmosis training sessions. As a member of the Lecturio Student Advisory Board, she ensures eLearning content meets the needs of medical education.

Odile's leadership extends to serving on both the Intare Surgery Interest Group and the UGHE Student Research Society committees, and she has played key roles in major events like the IFMSA-ARM 2023. Her excellence has earned her several accolades, including the 2023 ScholarRx Brick Builder Grant and recognition in various competitions. Beyond academics, she is deeply involved in volunteer work and health equity promotion, demonstrating a profound commitment to global health advancement.
