Biography
Nneka Otokwala is a lawyer and development enthusiast with a passion for building sustainable and equitable education systems in Africa. Nneka has over 15 years of legal experience and is currently with the World Bank Group. Born and raised in Nigeria, Nneka began her career there and is a product of the Nigerian public school system, having attended Federal Government Girls’ College Onitsha, the University of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Law School. Additionally, she pursued further studies in the United States, earning her Master of Laws degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Nneka is also the host of EduCatalyst Africa, a podcast that explores the triumphs, challenges, and transformative solutions within Africa’s education landscape. Through thought-provoking conversations with brilliant minds from across the continent and beyond, the podcast seeks to spotlight innovative ideas that can drive Africa’s development through top-notch, equitable, and inclusive education.
