Biography
Cindy Arko Nyamekye is a Ghanaian economist, statistician, researcher, and youth leader with experience in higher education administration, data analysis, and policy-oriented research. She currently serves as Senior Administrative Assistant at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), where she supports student administration, academic coordination, reporting, and institutional operations.
With a background in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana, and professional experience with institutions including the Ghana Cocoa Board and the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly, Cindy has developed expertise in research, statistical analysis, data management, and evidence-based decision-making.
She also serves as Policy Advisor for Education Policy and Advocacy at the All-Africa Students Union (AASU), contributing to continental discussions on education reform, student engagement, and youth empowerment. Her work focuses on advancing equitable and future-oriented education systems across Africa, with a strong interest in the intersection of education, policy, data, and sustainable development.
