Biography

Moses Mwebaze is an educational technologist and researcher with actionable knowledge and skills in Online and Distance Education. He holds a master's degree from the Institute of Educational Technology, Open University, UK.  Moses is the team leader at Kufundisha Tecknologia Consults (KTC). He is currently providing Technology Enhanced Learning(TEL) classes to Kampala School of paramedical(KSP) and also providing advisory and technical support to the country's leading school textbook publisher on their eLearning project for primary and secondary education. With his vast experience working with health research projects in Uganda, he developed a mobile application prototype to justify the support for continuous training of Community Health Workers using mobile learning. As a researcher, he is also working on the topic “Factors that support or hinder educators in Central Uganda primary and secondary education in utilizing OERs, OS tools, and MOOCs in their Professional Development”. The goal is to support educators at all levels to adapt to utilizing the affordances technology to facilitate education and training.
