Mike Feerick is CEO & Founder of Alison, one of the world’s largest free empowerment platforms with 23m registered members. Founded in 2007, Alison provides 4,000 free courses for workplace learning and upskilling. It also provides free psychometric and aptitude tests & assessments, along with free tools for mental health and well-being. Subject matter experts can earn revenue by sharing expertise. Career advice and job matching services are provided at no cost and Free Learning Management System functionality is also provided. Alison's goal is to enable anyone, anywhere to study any subject online at any time for free.
Mike is an internationally recognised social entrepreneur receiving a Diploma Award, UNESCO (2010), Ashoka Fellowship (2011), Guinness Social Fund Award (2012). In 2013, Alison was a WISE Award winner (Qatar Foundation). He was a World Economic Forum Social Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist 2016. Alison was awarded the EU Civil Solidarity Award in Feb 2020 for rapidly educating the world via free online learning about COVID, including translation into 15+ African languages. He holds two degrees in business, UL (BBS 89) and Harvard University (MBA 94).
