Biography
Meklit Mintesinot is a dedicated professional with a strong interest in digital education and youth skills development. Over the past ten years, she has led and participated in various projects aimed at promoting inclusive access to digital skills, enhancing youth employability and entrepreneurship, and facilitating the transfer of digital competencies through public sector collaborations.
She currently serves as a project manager for Ethiopia’s largest digital education initiative, e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education, which aims to improve the quality, accessibility, and inclusivity of higher education by leveraging digital technology.
Meklit is passionate about fostering an equitable and transformative digital ecosystem in Africa that promotes sustainable development, bridges the digital divide, and empowers youth. Her commitment to public–private partnerships is driven by the belief that collaborative efforts are essential to achieving meaningful digital transformation in higher education.
