Biography
Mary Khozi
Mary has 20 years career spanning nursing and international development.
Currently the Country Director at Right To Play, Rwanda spearheading delivery on strategic commitments in education, protection and empowerment of children and youth in school.
She is passionate about innovation in organizational work for addressing development issues in resource poor countries in Africa.
Has been Country Director for Help a Child Malawi, and Africa Regional Director for One Girl Australia. Also worked with Marie Stopes International; FHI360, GOAL, Handicap International and Save the Children among other organizations. She worked in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Her latest work: innovation- ‘learning through play with technology’ in Rwandan schools to teach science and elementary technology.
She has led programs involving Gender, SGBV, Education, HIV/AIDS, WASH, child safeguarding, Health, Nutrition, food security and rural livelihood strategies. Has vast experience in donor liaisons and advocacy
