Martha Ekirapa

Biography

Martha Ekirapa is a Director of Education and National Program Coordinator of the Kenya Primary Education Equity in Learning (KPEEL) Program at Kenya’s Ministry of Education. With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, she has led major education reform and learning continuity initiatives, including the PRIEDE and GPE COVID-19 programs. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nairobi and has served as Kenya’s GPE Focal Point since 2014. Martha also represented developing country partners on the GPE Performance, Impact and Learning Committee from 2021–2023.
