Marta serves as the Mozambique Country Representative & Director of Strategic Partnerships at Girl MOVE Academy, a pioneering African Leadership Academy recognized by UNESCO as one of the world’s best programs for girls’ and women’s education in 2021. Its innovative approach was adopted by the Mozambican Ministry of Education, due to the extraordinary results achieved over the last decade.
At eLearning Africa, Marta will share how Girl MOVE (in)powers girls at scale, equipping them with leadership and changemaker skills while leveraging digital technologies. By becoming role models for adolescent girls, they create a powerful ripple effect, inspiring systemic change and transforming future generations.
Marta sees this as a pivotal moment to bridge the gender digital divide and elevate education, paving the way for a more equitable and sustainable future.
