Biography

Margot Brown is an information and knowledge management professional with leadership experience in both the private and public sectors, skilled in establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and experienced in developing and implementing innovative and effective knowledge programs.  Margot's specialties include: Collaborative technologies, strategic approaches to managing knowledge, information management plans and strategies, operationalizing KM, organisational development specifically change management.

Margot Brown is the Director of Global Themes Knowledge Management with the World Bank Group and is leading the work on developing a Knowledge Management Action Plan for the World Bank. Prior to joining the World Bank, Margot served as the Executive Director of Knowledge Services with KPMG Canada, Director of Knowledge Management with Canada Health Infoway, and Manager of Organisational Development at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
