Biography
Lovetta Bangura is a Civil Engineer, YALI alumna, and EdTech systems practitioner whose work focuses on how learning systems are operationalized in low-connectivity and infrastructure constrained environments. She has led last-mile operations across six districts in Sierra Leone, deploying and managing digital learning systems in underserved communities. Her experience spans inschool EdTech for improving teaching and learning, out-of-school solutions for underserved learners, and AI-enabled digital tools for gender-based violence prevention. Through her work at EasySTEM, she has collaborated and led partnerships with the Peace Corps, UNICEF, and the Government of Sierra Leone, while also training educators in the practical use of digital and AI-enabled learning tools in resource-constrained settings.
