Leon Yanful

Biography

Leon serves as Head of Operations and Lead Tech Instructor at Ghana Code Club, where he has supported the delivery of digital literacy, coding, robotics, and AI education programmes for children and young people across Ghana since 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Ghana and previously worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant, supporting courses in Embedded Systems, Information Security, Human-Computer Interaction, and Data Network Security. He also worked as Social Media Manager at IPMC Ghana, leading digital communication and engagement initiatives.

At Ghana Code Club, Leon has contributed significantly to Coding and AI Without Computers initiatives, helping train students and teachers in practical and accessible approaches to AI literacy, STEM education, computational thinking, curriculum development, and digital skills training, particularly in underserved communities with limited access to infrastructure.
