Laura Wauters is a seasoned Agricultural Education Specialist with a background as a Bio-Engineer in Tropical Agronomy. As the Training Manager at COLEAD, she brings over a decade of experience in designing and implementing capacity-building initiatives, particularly in the horticultural sector across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Laura's expertise encompasses curriculum design, technical training, and Moodle LMS development, ensuring that educational resources are both accessible and impactful for diverse regions.
Recently, COLEAD's training activities were certified under ISO 21001, a testament to Laura’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in educational practices. Her work continues to enhance the effectiveness of agricultural education and training programs, empowering local communities and fostering sustainable growth within the horticultural sector.
