Biography
Kaija Saramäki is a Senior Lecturer, responsible for curriculum development and teaching in the English-taught Master of Engineering in Sustainability Management programme, as well as in Bachelor programmes in Forestry and Energy and Environmental Engineering.
Her expertise lies in co-creation, online pedagogy, stakeholder engagement, cross-boundary collaboration and networking, and internationalisation.
Her educational background includes an MSc in Environmental Forestry (with a focus on social issues in natural resource management), a BSc in Forest Products Marketing (with a focus on forestry, communication, and marketing), a vocational teacher qualification, and ongoing PhD studies in Applied Education (focusing on co-creation in an international network), alongside ongoing BSc studies in Community Education.
