Biography
Dr. Juliet Katusiime is an environmental management academic and practitioner, and a two-time DAAD alumni.
She earned a Doctorate in Natural Sciences (Geographical Sciences) from Freie Universität Berlin (Germany), Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from Makerere University (Uganda) in Integrated Watershed Management and Environmental Management, respectively. Juliet has also attained several postgraduate certificates, such as in Integrated Water Resources Management, from McGill University in Canada, Goethe Institute in Nairobi and various other academic and industrial organisations like Brot für die Welt and the Global Water Partnership.
Dr. Juliet Katusiime Zizinga is the founder and director of Mind-Nature Institute, an environmental and sustainable development institute in Uganda, facilitating learning and training, doing research, carrying out impactful outreaches, and networking at various global and local community levels for solutions and progress.
