John Rwirahira

Biography

John Rwirahira is an economist and a policy analyst who occupied senior research positions in different research organisations. He mainly focused on pro-poor policy design and implementation in key sectors such as agriculture, social protection, gender and economic empowerment as well as access to finance for marginalised groups.

At Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR), Mr John Rwirahira works as the Head of Research and Information and is responsible for designing and overseeing data and research related projects in the Rwanda’s financial sector as well as generating learnings that support strategic programming and policy dialogues for accelerating access to and use financial services, especially for underserved segments.
