Biography
Joerg Hartmann, M.A., has been Expert for Teaching at Goethe-Institut Senegal since 2024. From 2018 to 2023, he served as DAAD Lecturer at Université de Dschang, Cameroon. Previously, he taught German Studies and Media Culture at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where he also worked as academic staff at the Centre for Mediated Learning (2010–2017). He holds two Master's degrees in German Studies and International Education Management. Study and research experience took him to Canada, Jordan, Egypt, and the USA. His work focuses on digital education, performative language pedagogy, and intercultural learning. He publishes on digital media integration in German-as-Foreign-Language teacher education in African contexts.
