Biography
Jenny Price is a Research Director at the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER). Our mission is to build better futures globally and to support improvements within education systems. We achieve this with our expert evaluations, research, and assessments across all aspects of teaching and learning. This is used to inform policymakers and other education stakeholders worldwide, and also support the strengthening of classroom practice.
Jenny is responsible for leading research and evaluations of education programs, interventions, and policies across Africa, with almost 15 years of experience working on international development, evaluation, and education programs globally. She is passionate about generating evidence to support gender-transformative and inclusive educational systems and practices worldwide.
She currently directs the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Partnership for the Plug-in Play program in Rwanda, implemented by Right to Play. Plug-in Play has developed a Learning Through Play with Technology (LTPT) approach to support teachers in effectively delivering Science and Technology lessons at the upper primary level. The MEL Partner will support the program to generate learning and evidence to support adaptation and scale-up of interventions.
