Biography
Jean-Baptiste Milon is a senior education expert with global experience in publicly funded R&D&I projects, with a focus on education, technology, and security. His career has spanned multiple countries and prominent organisations, such as the Tyndall National Institute in Ireland, the International Council for Open and Distance Education in Norway, and the International Council on Badges and Credentials in Germany, where he has held executive positions. He currently works at the Martel consulting firm in Switzerland as a Senior Project Manager.
Jean-Baptiste’s expertise lies particularly in fundraising and stakeholder engagement across Europe and Africa, where he has successfully led numerous initiatives. His contributions to eLearning Africa since 2018 underscore his dedication to advancing education and technology on the African continent.
At present, Jean-Baptiste is leading a doctoral research project focused on business strategies within Africa, further demonstrating his commitment to understanding and contributing to the region’s development. His broad experience, dedication, and leadership in these sectors make him a key figure in driving innovation and strategic collaboration in education and technology across international contexts.
