Biography
Irene Elorm Hatsu Fiebor is the Senior eLearning and Digital Learning Officer at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Accra, Ghana, where she leads the Digital Learning Innovation Unit. With over a decade of experience designing culturally grounded, context-specific digital learning for peace and security actors across Africa, she has developed and localised more than 15 online courses and supported over 4,500 learners. Her work focuses on integrating cultural identity, lived experience, and African-centred perspectives into digital education, ensuring that learning remains relevant, inclusive, and authentic. Irene also facilitates sessions on gender, mediation, negotiation, and preventing violent extremism, and is passionate about advancing digital learning approaches that reflect African realities and strengthen institutional capacity across the continent.
