Biography
Ian Macallan is the CEO of Project Luangwa, an NGO working to empower women and improve education throguhout disadvantaged communites in South Luangwa.
Ian holds an MA in International Relations and History from the University of St Andrews. Ian has worked in various fields of freelance writing, law enforcement and hospitality management. He first came to Zambia in 2016 to work in conservation and took over the running of Project Luangwa in 2020, steering the organisation through the covid crisis, and growing its portfolio to include 11 projects across Eastern Province.
