Biography

Henrik Hansson. Professor at Department of Computer and Systems Sciences Stockholm University, Sweden. PhD in Education. Founder of SciMind AB a research based EdTech company. EDEN fellow since 2007; The European Distance and E-Learning Network - NAP Network of Academics and Professionals. Henrik has been researcher and coordinator of 17 international projects, published more than 150 publications, supervised more than 150 bachelor and master theses and supervised 10 PhD students. Research is focused on IT-supported flexible learning and has been conducted in more than 30 countries which means that cultural aspects has always been an important part. In Africa Henrik has been active in projects located in Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Liberia, Nigeria, Morocco, Somalia, Eritrea and Burkina Faso.
