Biography
Gregory Onwodi is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). He holds a PhD in Computer Science, is Microsoft Certified, and a Fellow of the Institute of Information Management (FIIM), Africa. He has previously served as the Director of ICT and is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Computing at NOUN, as well as the AI Programme Coordinator at the African Centre of Excellence for Technology Enhanced Learning, a World Bank project.
He served as the National ICT Skills Development Team Leader for the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) from 2016 to 2019 and was a team member for the UNESCO project on ICT skills integration into teacher training curricula. Gregory has won both international and local research grants as a Principal Research Investigator. He is also a Visiting Professor at New Gate University and an External Examiner at Nile University, Nigeria.
In addition, he is a reviewer for reputable journals and has published over fifty research articles. His main research interests include Artificial Intelligence and eLearning.
