Biography
Dr George Chalale is a professional teacher educator with extensive experience in Mathematics and ICT education. Since 2008, he has been teaching Mathematics and ICT subjects to diploma-level student teachers in Tanzania. He currently holds the position of Head of Research, Consultancy, and Innovation at Mpwapwa Teachers’ College.
Over the past ten years, Dr Chalale has also served as the ICT Curriculum Coordinator for the ICT in Teacher Education Programme under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. His academic background includes studies in ICT pedagogy and development, undertaken both locally at the University of Dar es Salaam and internationally at Stockholm University in Sweden.
